Can I apply for deferment based on Work Commitment?

Advance notice is always given to NSmen to make alternative work arrangements so that they can attend ICT, as most NSmen inevitably have work commitments. Typically, 6 months' notice is given for High-Key In-Camp Training (ICT), and 3 months' notice for Low-Key ICT. Deferment applications based on Work Commitments are considered on a case by case basis, subject to the Unit's operational and manpower requirements. If there are exceptional circumstances, you may still apply for deferment via "Manage Manning & Call-Ups" module on OneNS along with any relevant supporting documents, as early as possible.
