What happens when the temporary medical fitness status expires?

A temporary medical fitness status will have a stated duration for the serviceman's condition to stabilise or recover and return for a medical review. If a temporary medical fitness status expires, that medical fitness status will prevail until a Medical Board is convened to review the medical fitness status.
