You will need to complete the external medical appointment if you are:

1) instructed to do so by an SAF Medical Officer for the purpose of your subsequent SAF medical review; or

2) deem that the medical diagnosis by your private specialist is crucial to your Temporary Physical Employment Standard (PES) Review.

There is no deadline to complete the external medical appointments, except for those scheduled by MINDEF/SAF. However, we strongly advise you to complete this prior to your SAF medical review, so as to allow for a complete medical assessment.
