I am living overseas and unable to attend the scheduled Pre-Enlistment medical reviews. What do I do?

You may reschedule your appointment to a time when you are able to return for the medical reviews. Alternatively, you may choose to do the required test overseas and send a copy of your medical report to the Medical Classification Centre for our Medical Officer to review. You should bring along the referral letter given to you to show the overseas doctor so that the doctor will have more information on your medical condition. Please note that you will have to incur the cost for overseas medical review as MINDEF does not cover such expenses. You may still need to be referred for further investigations, if the report received is deemed as insufficient or incomplete. Please contact us so that we may assist you further on the options available for you.
