Pre-enlistees aged 13 years and above are required to apply for an Exit Permit (EP) on OneNS if they intend to remain overseas for 3 months or longer. Those between the ages of 13 and 16 ½ years, who intend to remain overseas for 2 years or more, are also required to furnish a bond in the form of a Banker's Guarantee with a value of S$75,000 or an amount equivalent to 50% of the combined annual gross income of their parents for the preceding year, whichever is higher.
