Can I defer from full-time NS to pursue courses at private institutions locally?

You are eligible for deferment from full-time NS to pursue full-time private courses (not leading to a degree qualification i.e. GCE 'N', 'O' or 'A' Level and certificate or diploma courses) at private schools/institutions registered with Committee for Private Education (CPE), if you meet the deferment age criteria.
