For NSF/Regular/DXO/MINDEF civilian officers, you should file an application for replacement of SAF Card via the SAF Identity Document Management System (IDMS) on the MINDEF Intranet. Your application will be routed to your S1/MPO/AO or Unit appointed Recommending Officer, who shall investigate the cause of damage or defacement. The Recommending Officer shall make a recommendation to your Unit appointed Approving Officer for a decision on whether a replacement fee should be imposed. The SAF Card replacement application will then be sent to the NS Registration and Enlistment Centre (NSREC) for processing. For NSmen, you may approach your S1/MPO/AO or Chief Clerk for assistance to submit an application for replacement of SAF Card via IDMS. Alternatively, you may approach Service Connect at CMPB for assistance to replace your SAF Card.
