What is the Home Team?

The Home Team concept was launched in 1997. It centres around the idea that the agencies in the Home Team perform various roles but are committed to a common mission to keep Singapore safe and secure. The Home Team comprises 11 agencies, namely the Ministry Headquarters, the Singapore Police Force, the Internal Security Department, the Singapore Civil Defence Force, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, the Singapore Prison Service, the Central Narcotics Bureau, the Home Team Academy, the Home Team Science and Technology Agency, the Gambling Regulatory Authority and the Yellow Ribbon Singapore.
