Are there any entry criteria for Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit?

The Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit (CDAU) welcomes applicants who are at least 18 years old and eager to serve on the frontline. While no prior experience is required, relevant background in emergency medical services, fire safety enforcement, firefighting and rescue, or public education will be an advantage. For those applying for the Firefighting and Rescue vocation, applicants should be physically and mentally fit. Male applicants must have completed National Service and be from PES A or B.
