Updated by MHA Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
If you are between 18 and 50 years old and have a passion for community engagement, the Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit (CDAU) Public Education Officer role offers a meaningful opportunity to work alongside SCDF officers in educating the public on emergency preparedness.
You will be asked to deliver sessions on topics such as first aid, CPR and fire safety at classroom sessions and community events.
Some teaching experience would be a plus. Structured on-the-job training will be provided, and a minimum commitment of 16 hours per month is required.
