Can I become a Prison Religious Volunteer?

Updated by MHA
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with the Singapore Prison Service (SPS). If you are at least 21 years old and wish to support others through faith, you can sign up to be a SPS Religious Volunteer. No special qualifications are required. As a Religious Volunteer, you will work with one of SPS's faith-based partner organisations to provide spiritual guidance and counselling to inmates, helping them adopt pro-social values and build the support networks they need for successful reintegration. To sign up, you can either approach one of SPS's partner organisations directly — spanning Christian, Roman Catholic, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh, and Daoist communities — or email PRIS_Volunteers@pris.gov.sg to explore available opportunities.
