Updated by MHA The Singapore Prison Service (SPS) collaborates with various community partners, to offer rehabilitation and reintegration programmes to inmates and ex-offenders. SPS volunteers facilitate programmes which include religious programmes and services, social programmes, academic and enrichment programmes. Volunteers also provide pro-social support for inmates and ex-offenders, during their in-care (in prison) and after-care (in the community) phases.
Volunteering with the Singapore Prison Service (SPS) is one of the most meaningful ways to make a lasting difference in someone's life. SPS volunteers play a part in the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates and ex-offenders — helping them rebuild their lives and return to society as contributing members.
