Will any training, guides or toolkits be provided, along with the launch of the revised Code?
The Charity Council and the Office of the COC will conduct various training sessions to (a) raise charities’ awareness of the key revisions to the revised Code, (b) provide guidance and assistance in the implementation process and (c) address charities’ queries on its application.
The Charity Council understands that the sector may require guidance on some of the newly introduced concepts and guidelines, such as ESG, board succession planning etc. We continue to collaborate with our Shared Services partners to develop guides and training courses. These initiatives will be rolled out in phases after the launch of the revised Code.
