Has the Charity Council gathered feedback from charities?
A public consultation was conducted from 13 May 2022 to 16 June 2022. All charities and interested members of the public were invited to provide comments and feedback on the proposed revised Code through Council’s online feedback exercise. We have received a good number of feedback via various platforms (i.e., emails, online form, and partners).
The Charity Council Secretariat also organised four physical dialogue sessions involving charity representatives from more than 130 charities and IPCs across various sectors regarding the proposed revisions to the Code principles. The attendees of the dialogue sessions included Board members and Executive management staff from the charities. The feedback from the dialogue sessions were taken into consideration and further refinements were made to the Code.
