In addition, the following enhancements will be made with effect from 1 January 2024. First, the scope of qualifying volunteering activities will be expanded to include activities which are conducted virtually (e.g., online mentoring and tuition support for youths/children) or outside of the IPCs' premises (e.g., refurbishment of rental flats). Second, the cap on qualifying expenditure per IPC will be doubled from $50,000 to $100,000 per calendar year. All other conditions of the scheme will remain the same.
