Will society charities be able to add/remove board members directly from the Charity Portal?
No. The list of board members on Charity Portal are pre-populated from the updates lodged with ROS via IROSES. Data of new board members will automatically be incorporated in the new draft created under the “Update Governing Board Members, Trustees and Key Officers” module on Charity Portal. That said, charities will have to enter the cessation date within the profile of the board member who have resigned/stepped down. The data will be removed when the draft is submitted and processed.
Society charities are however able to add/remove key officers by clicking on “Add Governing Board Members, Trustees and Key Officers” tab.
**Refer to Charity Portal’s E-Service Guide “Update Governing Board Members, Trustees and Key Officers” for reference on the steps to perform the updates.
