Governing board members are persons responsible for the general control and management of an organisation. The governing board is collectively responsible to ensure compliance with the organisation’s governing instrument and all relevant laws and regulations. The governing board also makes sure that the organisation is well governed and operates responsibly so that the organisation would continue to be effective, credible and financially sustainable.
