Can parents continue saving into their children’s Child Development Account (CDA) to receive Government co-matching up to the current cap?
For children born on or after 1 April 2027, they will be eligible for the uniform $5,000 CDA Government co-matching cap.
For children born before 1 April 2027, existing CDA co-matching caps will be retained until 30 September 2027, to give families time to save up to the current caps. From 1 October 2027, the existing CDA co-matching caps will be adjusted to $5,000.
