What is the one-off concession about?
Normally, involuntarily unemployed individuals must have worked at least 6 months in the past 12 months (from application date) before they can qualify for the scheme. The one-off concession allows individuals who lost their job on or after 1 Apr 2024 and are currently still unemployed to also participate in the scheme. However, such individuals must submit the application by 15 Jun 2025 before the concession expires.
