I was retrenched after I came back from long leave (e.g. maternity or study leave). Will the period of absence be considered as having worked, for the purpose of meeting the criterion of having been employed for at least 6 months in the last 12 months?
The period when you were on paid leave and continued to receive salary will be considered as having worked. If you meet all other eligibility criteria, you are eligible for the scheme.
