How is my past average gross monthly income calculated?
Your past average gross monthly income comprises your basic salary and additional allowances such as overtime pay, commissions and bonuses you have earned over the last 12 months. The total amount is then divided across the months that you were in employment and drawing an income.

I was retrenched after I came back from long leave (e.g. maternity or study leave). Will the period of absence be considered as having worked, for the purpose of meeting the criterion of having been employed for at least 6 months in the last 12 months?
