How is involuntary unemployment defined?

Updated by JOBSEEKERSUPPORT 5 found this helpful

A person is considered “involuntarily unemployed” if he left his job involuntarily.

Examples include retrenchment, cessation of business, and dismissal or termination due to illness/injury/accident (e.g. physically unable to perform the same role).
