I am using a payroll software that can generate complete employee records. Can I deregister from the AIS Data link-up service?
Since your payroll software already has all the necessary employees’ information for submission, you can deregister from the AIS Data Link-up Service.
To deregister, follow these steps:
- Staff with 'Approver' or 'Preparer' (PDF, 690KB) role (exclude tax agents) for the 'Submission of Employment Income Records' digital service to log in to myTax Portal.
- Select 'Employers' > 'Register Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) for Employment Income'
- Click 'De-Register' under the 'AIS Data Link-up Service' section.
- Select the reason for withdrawal, complete the 'Applicant Details', 'Declaration' and click 'Submit'.
- An acknowledgement page will appear once the deregistration is successful.
Note: Your organisation will remain registered for AIS and is still required to submit employees’ employment income information to IRAS by 1 Mar each year.
This information is sourced from IRAS.
