If I am a foreigner buying a Singapore property in trust for my daughter, who is also a foreigner, is ABSD (Trust) remission applicable?
ABSD (Trust) remission may be granted if the conditions under the Stamp Duties (Trusts for Identifiable Individual Beneficiary) (Remission of ABSD) Rules 2022 are met.
The amount refunded will be the difference between the ABSD (Trust) paid and the ABSD based on the highest profile of the beneficial owner(s) of the property.
