IRAS will automatically refund tax credits within 30 days from the date the tax credit arises. You do not need to submit a claim for refund.

Taxpayers who pay taxes through their personal GIRO bank account will receive their refunds through the same GIRO account. If you are not on GIRO, register for PayNow NRIC/FIN to receive your refund.
