I am buying a semi-detached house with land zoned “Residential”. The semi-detached house has been approved as a childcare centre. Is my purchase subject to Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD) rates for non-residential property?
For the acquistion of the subject property, the applicable BSD rates would depend on the zoning of the land. Since the land is zoned “Residential”, BSD rates for residential property applies.
