Question for context of the Singapore Patents Act Section 34,
Hi,
In the context of the Singapore Patents Act Section 34, the term "person" refers to an individual and does not include a company or legal entity. It specifically refers to an individual who is a resident in Singapore and is subject to the provisions stated in Section 34 regarding the filing of patent applications outside Singapore.

“Any persons residing in Singapore” refers to applicant(s), inventor(s) and agent(s) including foreigners with valid pass lawfully issues to them eg: Singapore permanent residents and work pass holders
