The renewal application can be lodged, at its earliest, 6 months before the design's renewal date is due. If you miss the renewal date, you can still lodge the renewal application within 6 months after the renewal date, but the prescribed late fee will apply. If you do not submit a renewal application within these dates, your design registration will lapse.
