Can I request for a refund for a fee for an application or form?
Refund is generally not allowed. However, these exceptions may apply:
- You have made duplicate payment for a form.
- You have filed duplicate forms.
- You have submitted a form which cannot be processed
- The IPOS examiner has not started work on your request for a search and/or examination report for a patent application.
A refund request can be submitted via IPOS Digital Hub. Forms which have been processed are generally not refundable.
Submission of a request for refund does not guarantee a refund and is subject to approval. You are advised to check your forms carefully before submitting them.
