Singapore Citizens (SC) and Permanent Residents (PR) can enrol in Healthier SG. The rollout phases will prioritise those who are more likely to need medical care or suffer from chronic illnesses.
MOH is progressively inviting Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 60 years and above via SMS to enrol with a Healthier SG clinic or polyclinic. SMS invitations will also be sent progressively to those aged 40 to 59 years.

From early 2024, CHAS cardholders with high medication requirements and bills can opt for Healthier SG Chronic Tier, which provides subsidies of up to 87.5% on whitelisted chronic medications, depending on income level.
From early 2024, Singapore Residents under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) can use MediSave to pay for treatment without cash co-payment.
With the launch of Healthier SG, residents who enrol with and visit their enrolled GP clinic for preventive and chronic care will receive the following Healthier SG benefits:
One-time fully-subsidised first Health Plan consultation with the chosen clinic.
Healthpoints (worth $20) through Healthy 365 app after the first Health Plan consultation.
Fully subsidised nationally recommended screenings and vaccinations (for Singapore Citizens only)
From early 2024, CHAS cardholders with high medication requirements and bills can opt for the Healthier SG Chronic Tier, which provides subsidies of up to 87.5% on whitelisted chronic medications. More details of the subsidy levels for different CHAS cardholders under the Healthier SG Chronic Tier can be found in the table below.
From early 2024, Singapore Residents can use MediSave to pay for their CDMP treatment at their enrolled Healthier SG clinic without cash co-payment, up to prevailing withdrawal limits.
Healthier SG Chronic Tier (available from early 2024)
You will need to be a CHAS/ Pioneer Generation (PG)/ Merdeka Generation (MG) cardholder and also be enrolled with a Healthier SG GP clinic to be eligible for the subsidies under the new Healthier SG Chronic Tier, which will be available from early 2024 onwards. Under this Healthier SG Chronic Tier, these CHAS/PG/MG patients, especially those with high medication needs, can opt for and benefit from this alternative subsidy tier, allowing them to enjoy common chronic drugs from their enrolled Healthier SG GP clinics at prices comparable to polyclinics. Enrolees with any chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) and have CHAS/Merdeka Generation/Pioneer Generation cards can opt for the Healthier SG Chronic Tier, which allows them access to common chronic drugs at prices comparable to polyclinics. Healthier SG is a national strategy to transform Singapore's healthcare system to focus more on preventive care to help residents stay healthy, detect health issues early and manage them well. Under Healthier SG, residents will be empowered to take steps to improve their health proactively with the support of their trusted family clinic and community partners.
Commonly used drugs for managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol, will be whitelisted under Healthier SG Chronic Tier. This will be available in early 2024. Prices for these drugs at the GPs will be comparable with that of polyclinic drug prices.

There is no change to a civil servant’s Civil Service medical benefits when he/she is enrolled in Healthier SG.
The annual claim limits, per-visit claim limits and list of subsidised items remain as per the individuals’ prevailing medical schemes. For example, civil servants and pensioners will continue to be subsidised for medical bills incurred at private clinics up to $20/visit, subject to the prevailing co-payment rates and annual claim limits (if any) based on their medical scheme.

Nationally recommended screenings listed on the Screen-For-Life (SFL) programme, and vaccinations on the National Adult Immunisation Schedule (NAIS) are fully-subsidised for Healthier SG enrolees who are Singapore Citizens. These must meet the eligibility criteria and are as advised by their family doctor at their enrolled Healthier SG clinic only.
