What are the common side effects of Shingrix?

Updated by HEALTHIERSG 6 found this helpful

The vaccine has been assessed to be safe for use. However, similar to other vaccines, individuals may experience common side effects which include injection site reactions (e.g. pain, redness, swelling), fatigue, chills, fever, headache, muscle pain and gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g., nausea, abdominal pain). While most side effects are mild or moderate and usually resolve within a few days, individuals should consult a doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
