Q1: What is this e-Service for?

You can apply to pay your upgrading cost in full from your CPF Ordinary Account.

Q2: Under what conditions can I submit an application?

You can submit an application if:
- No legal action has been initiated for the outstanding instalment
- There is no estate action or finance action for the flat
- There is sufficient balance in your CPF Ordinary Account

Q3: How would I be notified on the status of my application?

You may view the application status of your upgrading cost payments using the e-Service.

Q4: My application has been unsuccessful. What should I do?

The approval of the application is subject to CPF Board’s prevailing policies. You may contact contact CPF Board regarding your application.

Q5: Am I allowed to submit more than 1 application?

You are allowed to only submit one application per NRIC at any 1 time.

Q6: How long does it take for CPF Board to process each application?

In general, CPF Board requires about 3 to 6 working days to process each application.

Q7: How much of my CPF monies can I use to pay for my full payment of upgrading cost?

You would be able to use monies from your CPF Ordinary Account to pay for full payment of upgrading cost. You can check your CPF Ordinary Account balance online through CPF Board’s website via 'my cpf Online Services'.

Q8: Are there any fees/ charges for the use of this e-Service?

There are no fees/ charges imposed for the use of this e-Service.
