My landlord did not register me as an authorised tenant, and he refused to refund the rental deposit that I have paid, upon termination of the rental agreement. Can HDB mediate?
Matters relating to the rental agreement, such as rental amount, payment or forfeiture of deposit and right to terminate the agreement, are private matters between you and the flat owner. HDB is not in a position to mediate if there is a dispute on these matters.
