Does my child’s Personal Learning Device (PLD) need to have touchscreen and stylus support?

A touchscreen device with stylus support is strongly recommended. This enables students to draw diagrams, annotate notes, and write mathematical workings or scientific equations directly on the screen, which enhances clarity and efficiency during lessons.

If the PLD does not have touchscreen capability, parents are advised to provide a compatible writing accessory (e.g. an external drawing tablet) so that students can still write and annotate comfortably for subjects that require extensive visual or symbolic work.
