How does the school ensure fairness in CCA selection processes, especially where students are involved in interviews?
Selection processes vary across CCAs, depending on their nature, objectives and skill requirements. Some CCAs may include trials or interviews as part of their selection process.
Where students are involved in interviews, their role is guided and supervised by teacher-mentors. Student input is used to assess aspects such as team fit and commitment, and does not replace professional judgement. Teachers retain overall responsibility for decisions and ensure that selection is conducted fairly and in accordance with school guidelines.
All CCAs operate within a common framework to ensure transparency, consistency and fairness across the selection process.
