There is Malay in the timetable. Is this the Malay Special Programme and is this compulsory?

Conversational Malay is compulsory for all Lower Secondary students for their familiarisation with our national language. The Malay Special Programme (MSP) is one of the 3rd language options offered by the MOE Language Centre. HCI offers this programme on campus. The MSP students will take the 'O' Level paper at Sec 4.
