How does the school manage bullying cases?

The school has a clear stance and management approach for bullying cases:

1. Zero Tolerance Policy:
- There is absolutely zero tolerance for bullying in Fuchun Primary School
- The school community is expected to exercise care and respect for one another

2. Definition of Bullying:
Bullying acts are defined as repeatedly hurting or intimidating others to deliberately cause:
- Harm
- Distress
- Humiliation

3. Types of Bullying Recognized:
- Physical
- Verbal
- Relational/social
- Cyber-related

4. Management Approach:
The school follows a structured process:
1. Investigation will be carried out by teachers, Year Heads and/or HOD Student Management to gather facts
2. The school will first use mediation and counseling for students involved
3. For repeated offenses despite counseling, mediation and warning, the school will take serious action

Note: Bullying is classified as a "Major/Serious Offense" in the school's discipline policy and may result in consequences such as:
- Warning (Verbal/Written)
- Suspension from class/school
- Corrective work
- Counselling and reflection
- Other appropriate disciplinary measures
