As an experimental tech unit, Open Government Products’ core mission is to continuously explore and test new ways technology can serve the public good. ERP X set out to be an experiment with no fixed rollout. The experiment will be concluding as we've gathered sufficient data to assess ERP X's technical and operational viability.

The participation of beta testers in ERP X ensures that any future decisions can be informed by real user insights should the ANPR-based solution be explored further.
