Who is eligible for Non-Contact Time?
All full-time certified Early Childhood (EC) educators taking on the job roles per Skills Framework for EC, must be provided with at least two hours of Non-Contact Time per week. Certified EC educators refer to educators who are certified by ECDA with a Letter of Notification (LON).
Early Intervention (EI) educators and Learning Support (LS) educators are also eligible for Non-Contact Time if they are employed by the preschool organisation and based in one centre.
For those employed at the organisation or HQ level and deployed across several centres, their employer may determine the Non-Contact Time arrangements based on their work arrangements and operational needs.
