Preschool operators had previously updated the profile of the educator. Why does her/his name appear on the Pending Task list again?

This may occur if the educator acquired a new LON after the previous update. For instance, if an educator with an EY1 LON subsequently obtains an L2 LON, the deployment field will be reset to allow preschool operator to update his/her deployment, e.g. from childcare to infant care.
