If I am applying for subsidies using the Per Capita Income (PCI) method, can I exclude certain family members' incomes from the calculation?

Updated by ECDA

No, you cannot exclude any family members' income from the Per Capita Income (PCI) calculation. All family members living at the same registered address as the main applicant must be included in the PCI computation if you choose to apply for subsidies via PCI. Appeals to include family members with different registered addresses in PCI calculations will not be approved.

Alternatively, you may apply for subsidies through the Household Income (HHI) assessment, which considers income from both parents even if their registered addresses are different.
