Are periods of umeployment or no-pay leave counted towards my ECDA Training Award bond duration?

Periods of unemployment or no-pay leave will not count towards your bond duration, and your bond completion date will be extended accordingly. However you should strive to maintain continuous employment at ECDA-licensed preschools (childcare centres or kindergartens) and MOE Kindergartens as any gaps between employments will extend your bond completion date as these periods don't count towards your bond duration.
