Can I receive Child Care Financial Assistance (CCFA), even after the Basic Subsidy and Additional Subsidy? How do I apply?
[For childcare/infant care subsidy applications only]
If you face difficulties paying preschool fees after receiving BS and AS, you can apply for Child Care Financial Assistance (CCFA) on the same LifeSG Form 1, either via the self-referral or agency-referral approach. CCFA’s eligibility criteria can be found on the LifeSG Form 1 itself. All applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- If you wish to apply for CCFA via self-referral, you may indicate directly on the LifeSG Form 1.
- If you wish to apply for CCFA via agency-referral (i.e. you are working with a case worker and have a Letter of Recommendation (LOR)), please ensure that you submit the LOR to your preschool on or before your child’s Date of Enrolment. This is to allow the preschool to submit the agency-referral details when generating your LifeSG Form 1.
If the LOR is not ready, you can proceed to complete the LifeSG Form 1 to apply for preschool subsidies first. Once LOR becomes available, submit it to your child’s preschool so that the preschool can assist to submit a separate CCFA/SUG application via hardcopy Form 2.
