Should I notify the preschool if my employment status changes or if there is a change in my household income?
Subsidy - Application
ECDA reassesses subsidies at specific fixed points to provide stability for parents. These assessment points are:
- When your child enrols in a new preschool
- When your child moves from infant care to childcare
- When your child progresses from Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 1
However, if your circumstances change significantly (e.g., if you or your spouse has had a significant pay cut), you can request a reassessment by submitting another subsidy application through your preschool.
To request subsidy reassessment, you may visit our preschool subsidy webpage: Request for subsidy reassessment (https://www.ecda.gov.sg/parents/preschool-subsidies/how-to-apply-or-make-changes-to-subsidies/request-for-subsidy-reassessment)
