Why is my Additional Subsidy not the maximum for my income tier?

Subsidy - Application

The Additional Subsidy you receive is subject to a minimum co-payment, which is the least you must pay after subsidies. This co-payment amount increases with your income. For instance, if your household income is $3,000 or less, you could get up to $467 in Additional Subsidy plus a $300 Basic Subsidy.

However, if your child's full-day programme fee costs $741.20, you would receive $438.20 in Additional Subsidy due to the $3 co-payment applicable for your income tier. Please note that the assessed income to determine Additional Subsidy eligibility includes base salary, bonuses, commissions, overtime pay, allowances, and employee CPF contributions.
