Is my child eligible for the preschool subsidy after missing a month of attendance due to a medical issue?
Preschool Subsidies
Typically, a child must attend at least one day of preschool in a month to qualify for that month's subsidy. If your child missed the entire month of preschool due to a medical issue, you can appeal for a one-time waiver from ECDA (subject to approval) through your child's preschool. You will need to provide the necessary supporting documents as listed in the Supporting Documents Checklist (https://file.go.gov.sg/ecda-subsidy-application-suppdocs.pdf). ECDA will assess your request and inform you of the decision.
