How do educators with L2C certification (due to not meeting the minimum B4 in GCE 'O' level language) obtain re-certification?
Professional Standards & Training - Educator Certification
Educators must attain a minimum grade B4 in GCE 'O' Level language (or any Language Acceptable Alternatives) within 2 years from the date of certification. If this language requirement is not met within the 2-year period, the certification level will be adjusted to L1 level.
Educators/Centres should submit an Educator Certification application on ONE@ECDA once the educators have met the language requirement. If the language requirement is met after 2 years and the application is submitted thereafter, it will be subject to prevailing certification requirements at the point of application.
