How do I enroll my child in the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC, EIPIC-P), or Inclusive Support Programme (InSP)?

Early Intervention Service Management

To be referred to a government-funded Early Intervention (EI) centre, parents/ caregivers may first visit a doctor at any polyclinic for onward referral for an assessment at KKH's Department of Child Development (DCD) or NUH's Child Development Unit (CDU). You may also approach a private paediatrician for assessment and recommendation for EI services.

If your child is assessed to be suitable, the hospital or paediatrician will submit the application to SG Enable (SGE). SGE will contact you with information to choose an EI centre, and your preferred centre will contact you within two weeks of referral to arrange for an intake screening. Enrolment is subject to the EI centre's vacancies and of approval.
