What do winners of the ECDA Awards receive?
ECDA Award winners are recognized with various prizes to support their professional development and contributions to early childhood education.
For individual award recipients:
Outstanding individual winners receive $2,000 for professional development, $500 cash, along with a trophy and certificate.
Commendation winners of the Outstanding Individual award categories will each receive $500 for professional development, $300 cash, a plaque and a certificate.
Promising Individual winners are awarded $500 for professional development, $300 cash, a trophy, and a certificate.
For centre award recipients:
Outstanding Centre for Teaching & Learning Award recipients get $3,000 for professional development, $2,000 for teaching and learning resources, a trophy, and a certificate.
Commendation winners of the Outstanding Centre for Teaching & Learning award will each receive $800 for professional development, $500 for teaching and learning resources, a plaque and a certificate.
For the Early Childhood Innovation Award, Distinction winners receive $2,000 for professional development, $1,000 for resources, a trophy, and a certificate. Merit winners get $1,000 for professional development, $500 for resources, a plaque, and a certificate, while Commendation winners are awarded $800 for professional development, a plaque, and a certificate.
