What is the minimum age for infants to be registered for the childminding pilot?
Childminding- General enquiry
To be eligible for the Childminding Pilot, infants must be Singapore Citizens, between two and 18 months old, and not be enrolled in any infant care centres.
The pilot aims to offer another infant caregiving arrangement to parents, as this is where parents’ caregiving needs are the greatest. For older children, the vast majority are enrolled in preschools as this option best meets parents’ caregiving needs and supports children’s development.
Parents of infants who do not qualify for the pilot programme can reach out to operators to discuss alternative options.
